Jackie Nordeman
Executive Director
Jackie has been volunteering in the ministry at River’s Edge since the beginning. Jackie has worn many hats: she ran an in-home daycare during her children’s school years, she has been a primary school teacher, a business owner, and an office manager. Jackie is a mother of four and a grandmother of 14. Jackie loves the Lord, loves children and animals; those things drew Jackie to River’s Edge and have kept her passionate and committed to the ministry.
Hannah Vermeulen
Program Director
We are thankful that the Lord has directed Hannah’s path and brought her to share her talents at River’s Edge. Hannah is a hard-working and dedicated young woman who began her career at River’s Edge in 2020 as a student volunteer. She has worked at River’s Edge Farms for the last few summers, managing the strawberry and produce operations. Hannah’s high school years were spent in a homeschooling environment, and she is continuing her education by taking CCEF (Christian Counselling & Educational Foundation) courses. Hannah enjoys working with and learning about animals, and she loves spending time with the kids that she mentors.
Teresa Sinke
Farm Support & Mentor
Teresa grew up in the children’s ministry at Circle Square Ranch and has a strong passion for God, children, and animals, with a bias for horses. She is a wife, mother of two, and enjoys volunteering in her church’s children’s ministry. Terresa’s experience with animals on her hobby farm is a blessing to River’s Edge, and she enjoys sharing her expertise with program participants. Teresa has been involved with the ministry at River’s Edge since its inception, serving in various roles. Teresa is excited to be a part of the staff team at River’s Edge and to continue serving God in this capacity.
