River’s Edge exists to support children and youth to grow spiritually, mentally and socially in a unique farm setting. As a Christian organization our core purpose is to share the hope, love and saving grace of Jesus Christ in a broken world. We share this hope by matching young people of any age and ability level with adult mentors to explore the beauty of creation in a fun-filled and safe place of adventure and challenge. We respect the dignity of every person and commit to doing our best to encourage growth through the mentoring relationship.

Our Facility
Rivers Edge is located just outside of Dunnville Ontario along the beautiful Grand River. We are blessed to have water, bush, and land! Along the river we are offering kayaking, fishing activities, and swimming opportunities. The bush is a great place to explore God’s creation–to observe the different flowers, ferns, and trees along with bird watching. Over time, trails will be developed and horse back riding in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter will become possibilities. The land is being used to create a garden and large areas for group games and there is plenty of room to find quiet reflection spots. We have a large, bright, and airy barn with stalls and plenty of space for interacting with the animals. There are also several paddocks and corrals for the horses and humans to interact. An indoor riding arena is located right off the barn, allowing us offer year-round mentoring sessions.

River’s Edge Haven of Hope is a farm-based Christian organization that welcomes anyone who desires to come and experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ and be encouraged to grow spiritually, mentally, socially and physically.

River’s Edge Haven of Hope endeavours to offer a unique natural environment for people of all ages and walks of life to discover and grow in their journey with Jesus Christ through authentic mentoring relationships.
